Miriam Lacher, manager of Sarasota Memorial’s Bayside Center for Behavioral Health, has been with the health care system since 1995. A Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Miriam also has a Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of South Florida and a Master’s of Arts in Teaching from Montclair State College, N.J. She serves on the Bioethics Committee at Sarasota Memorial Health Care System, the Institutional Review Board, SCOAD (Sarasota Community Organizations Active in Disasters), End-of-Life Coalition, Palliative Care Committee and Caregiving Forum.
