Want a simple, healthy yet filling snack? Need an “on-the-go” breakfast? A smoothie will fit the bill. Just make sure it’s truly healthy, with plenty of fruit but low on sugar and fat. Our Food & Nutrition staff recently combined frozen mixed berries and mangoes (feel free to substitute your favorite fruit), protein powder (a good addition to your diet) and low-fat Greek yogurt. Just add OJ and blend!
